DAMIANO SHOWROOM
Provided: Architecture + General Contracting
Location: Denver, CO
Completed: January 2006

Tactical rehabilitation of 1950s modular concrete tilt-up industrial structure. Main structure has good bones so the interior is gutted, trusses are exposed, space is power-washed. Pleasing northern light is pulled through raw steel window boxes. Main floor serves as open showroom and mezzanine level is built for lofty work stations. Barrel-vault cadence extends to gain high distant view of the Rockies. Core of building is formed from roof demo. Boards are salvaged, ripped into sections, stacked and staggered.
