The addition and remodel on a 1954 north Boulder home is phase one of the project. There are two intentions: bring daylight into the core of the home with the inserted elevated structure, then create an entrance of strong presence.
The steel trellis over the entrance is the marker. Its structural arrangement deflects southern light onto the introduced north entrance. Levity, light, and color are the first combined experience of the visitor.
