What is beauty in a good design.
Can we perceive it with the eye or is it something more intangible, something that we FEEL in our bodies. Building systems that function properly have a beauty that supersedes aesthetics. They have the power to be an extension of us. Our design strives to integrate all systems (structure/ mechanical/ lighting/ existing building/ site placement/ neighbors, etc.) into a whole, not introduce them as afterthoughts. This intentionality serves the world better than a pretty box.
